	Mr Tormod Macleod (Mac) – Chair and Co–Opted Governor Mac comes to Beaudesert Lower School with over 30 years’ experience in the public sector, the majority of which has been in policing. As a senior police officer, Mac is committed to delivering ethical leadership, improving outcomes and ensuring accountability. Mac is passionate about public services and will ensure that Beaudesert continues to provide our children with a safe, happy and inclusive environment, where they can develop a strong educational foundation and love for learning. Mac currently lives in Leighton Buzzard and is married with two children. 	Mrs Vanessa Pearce- Head Teacher Committees/Responsibilities: School Improvement Group, Finance and General Purpose Committee, School Improvement Group. Terms of office: 10th March 2015 – ongoing
	Cherihane Taqi – Co-opted Governor Cherihane currently works as a global supply planner for a leader in connected car technology, lifestyle audio innovations and digital transformation. Cherihane’s focus as a governor is working with the headteacher and senior leadership team to drive the strategic development of the school and raise standards of achievement. Cherihane has a keen interest in Science and Arts. Committees/Responsibilities: Full Governing Body, Finance and General Purpose Committee, School Improvement Group and Safeguarding Governor. Terms of Office: 1st September 2022 – 31st August 2026
	Davina Hanson – Parent Governor Davina Hanson-Mukhwana is passionate about children and young people reaching their full potential, regardless of their background. She will speak up for other parents, listen to what the school needs, and work together to seek solutions. Davina aims to support Beaudesert in creating a joyful, safe, and inspiring environment for every child. Committees/Responsibilities: Full Governing Body, Finance and General Purpose Committee, School Improvement Group. Terms of Office: 1st December 2024 – 30th November 2028
	Mrs Sandra Moore – Vice Chair and Co-opted Governor Committees/Responsibilities: Full Governing Body, Chair of Finance and General Purpose Committee, Health and Safety Governor Terms of office: 29th March 2021 – 28th March 2025 29th March 2025 – 28th March 2029
	Ms Chloe White – Staff Governor Deputy Head Teacher Committees/Responsibilities: Full Governing Body, School Improvement Group, Pupil Premium Terms of office: 1st July 2023 – ongoing
	Gary Jackson – Parent Governor Gary works in the journalism and fintech industries, leading a team of journalists covering investments on one of the UK’s leading fund research websites. He lives in Leighton Buzzard and has two children at Beaudesert Lower School. Gary’s interests include running, ancient history and reading. Committees/Responsibilities: Full Governing Body, Finance and General Purpose Committee Term of Office: 1st November 2024 – 31st October 2028
